About Us
Anita Corbin-Bartholomew, Genealogist
Currently working on receiving her Post Nominals in Genealogy, Anita is a student at the International Institute of Genealogical Studies with a focus on DNA and Genetic Genealogy as well as English Studies (England and Wales) certification. Based in Ontario, Canada with strong ties to her Barbadian heritage, Anita has been practicing Genealogy for over 25 years and specializes in Barbadian Genealogy and Research. With a Diploma and past career in Hospitality and Tourism Administration, Anita majored in Tourism and Convention Management and worked in the In-Bound Tourism Field and in Corporate Incentive Travel. Seeing the field of Genealogy Tourism grow and helping people reconnect and discover their ancestry and family heritage is a passion of hers.
Anita is a member of the Ontario Genealogical Society, the Barbados Museum & Historical Society and the Guild of One-Name Studies.
